**The dye I use for this fabric has been discontinued. I will be creating a new recipe with new dye colors. The listing photos will be updated when I get a good color match. For now, the original colors are being used, but soon I will be forced to use different shades.
Sometimes my best ideas come to me at the best times. I was pressing fabrics and trying to think up new color combinations. Then the color combo came to me. A light blend of pale colors. Pinks, blues, greens, and purples. The dye bowl was beautiful and I was excited to get them out of the washer. What came out that day was so much better than I had expected. It was light, blended, and showed each of the colors so well. I dyed a few more batches and found that the combination of the 4 colors was the best.
Since this is a 4 color fabric, each batch will be colored different than the next. Some will be stronger with the blue or green, others will show more pink or purple. I do try to keep the pink as the dominant color, but the fabric choses its own colors. These will not be carbon copy pieces. If you feel like you will need a pair of these, I recommend purchasing them together so that they are from the same dye batch. As you can see from the sample picture, the fabrics vary dramatically. Opals really are the star with this color, but 14 Charles Craft is the clear winner if you prefer to see dramatic color changes. My personal favorite fabrics for this color are 14 Aida Charles Craft, and 32 Opal Linen. They seem to show off the colors the best. Each fabric shows the colors differently, and this might be a color you want to try in a variety of counts and fabric types.
Fabric Information: All of the fabrics are Zweigart unless otherwise listed. Sizes for each fat quarter vary depending on the size of the bolt I am cutting from. There are 2 Charles Craft options that are available. Charles Craft is available in 14 and 16 counts.
Please allow up to 6 weeks for shipping. Each fabric is custom made to order.
Future batches of this color will not be exact carbon copies of photographed colors. Each dye batch is unique. Photos colors may vary depending on device, my recipe stays the same. Colors may vary slightly between jars of dye.
